Our sessions focus on five simple pillars of healthy ageing — movement, sleep, food, stress, and social relationships — helping older adults make healthier choices that can prevent or delay long-term adverse health conditions.

With nearly five decades of service to vulnerable and underserved communities in Wayanad, SVMM has been a pioneer in advancing health equity and Adivasi health in Wayanad. Thrya will work with SVMM's extensive network of community health volunteers to generate evidence and act.
Pilot of the healthy ageing programme
The initiative focused on promoting healthy ageing and bringing evidence-based health education directly to older adults. It reminded us that collaborative, community-centred approaches always win.
Teaching social determinants of health at ITSR, University of Calicut
Delivered in partnership with the Department of Sociology, ITSR, University of Calicut, and facilitated by Bijitha P R (HOD, Sociology, ITSR), the session was taken by Dr Roshina Sunny and Dr Rose Antony. Titled “Social Determinants of Health” the session examined how income, education, and social structures shape health. Through interactive discussions and real-life case scenarios, students reflected on how these wider social determinants influence health across the life course.
Launch of the Diabetes Prevention Programme in Nelliyambam
Thrya partnered with Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission, Muttil, through their community outreach camp in Nelliyambam hamlet, Nadavayal, led by Diabetologist Dr Rose Antony. Through this programme, we aim to identify individuals at risk for diabetes, promote awareness, and support early intervention.
